President-Elect Candidate:
Brianna Huff, Reece Construction
Brianna is a current Contractor Director up for election of President-Elect. This is a one year appointment position that was unfilled in 2023-2024.
Brianna Huff is a Construction Operations Manager at Reece Construction. She is currently serving as a Contractor Board of Director and is looking for her second term.
Current NUCA Involvement:
Brianna is an active Board Member currently serving on the Program and Events Committee. In the past two years you have seen her regularly volunteering, sponsoring and attending all NUCA member events and signature programs. Brianna has also been instrumental in expanding membership by not only representing NUCA in several ways but spreading the good word directly to other organizations and bringing in new members.
Treasurer Candidate:
Alex Thorson, CliftonLarsenAllen
Alex is the current NUCA Treasurer up for re-election.
Alex Thorson is A CPA with CliftonLarsenAllen. Alex has served on the NUCA Board as Treasurer for numerous years.
Contractor Director Candidates:
Mike Dysert, Johansen Construction Company (incumbent)
Mike is a current Contractor Director up for re-election.
Mike Dysert is a Project Manager at Johansen Construction Company. He is currently serving as a Contractor Board of Director and is looking for his third term.
Current NUCA Involvement:
Mike is an active Board Member currently serving on the Workforce Development Committee, Legislative Committee, and Scholarship Committee. In the past four years Mike has regularly served diligently as a Board member attending high school career fairs on behalf of NUCA, participating in the scholarship selection process, and our new Construction Career Day. Mike has earned the respect of many fellow NUCA members as evidenced by the countless nominations he has received to serve as President of the Board. Mike’s commitment is currently being served as a Contractor Director which allows him to get his hands dirty.
Ryan Heathers, ACI Construction
Ryan Heathers is the Owner of Active Construction Inc (ACI) and is a longstanding NUCA member.
Current NUCA Involvement:
Ryan is a very active member in NUCA, not only attending but sponsoring every NUCA program. This includes every single member dinner program, the golf tournament, the awards dinner, Dozer Day – you name it: not only is ACI attending it but they are actively supporting it. ACI has won Contractor of the Year the past two years in a row and Ryan is excited to serve as the representative from ACI in NUCA leadership to deepen their involvement with the organization.
Mike Pellitteri, PELLCO
Mike Pellitteri is the owner of PELLCO Construction and is a longstanding NUCA member.
Current NUCA Involvement:
Mike is an active member of the Legislative Committee, attending monthly membership dinners and legislative committee meetings. Mike is hoping to become a more active member of the chapter through leadership to become more involved in the administration of the association, and to help build more camaraderie of the members. Mike has previously served on the Board including as NUCA Board President (2015-2017).
Mark Scoccolo, SCI Infrastructure
Mark Scoccolo is the Owner of SCI Infrastructure and a longstanding NUCA member.
Current NUCA Involvement:
Mark is serving as a Washington Chapter representative on the NUCA National Board per one year appointment by the NUCA Washington Chapter board. He currently volunteers at Dozer Day and takes part in monthly dinner meetings and all NUCA signature events. Mark has previously served on the Board including as NUCA Board President (2007-2009) and as Chair of Dozer Day and other Committees.
Shane Webley, Johansen Construction Company
Shane Webley is the Vice President Johansen Construction Company and a longstanding NUCA member.
Current NUCA Involvement:
Shane is currently serving on the NUCA National Government Affairs Committee per appointment by the NUCA Washington Chapter board, and an active member on the legislative committee. Shane attended the NUCA National Legislative Summit this year as a Washington Chapter representative and met with many lawmakers on our behalf. Shane has previously served on the Board including as NUCA Board President (2019-2021) and as Chair of Workforce Development and Scholarship Committees.
Associate Director Candidates:
Marjorie Elliott, USI Insurance
Marjorie is a Construction Insurance Broker with USI Insurance Services.
Current NUCA Involvement: Marjorie has attended NUCA chapter events but does not currently serve on any committees or leadership roles.
Kemp Garcia, The Integrated Group
Kemp Garcia is currently a Contractor Board member and is running for an Associate Board seat.
Kemp Garcia currently moved positions to The Integrated Group – an Associate member of NUCA and therefore moving from a Contractor board member to applying for an Associate Board member seat.
Current NUCA Involvement:
Kemp is currently serving as Washington Chapter Past President, and on the NUCA National Chapter Development Committee. Kemp is active on our Safety Committee specifically on our Dig Law Committee, and is Chair of our Dig Safe Training program including being a NUCA Dig Safe trainer.
James Grossman, Ashbaugh Beal
James Grossman is currently a Partner as Ashbaugh Beal.
Current NUCA Involvement:
James does not currently serve on any committees or leadership positions but is interested in getting more involved with NUCA. Ashbaugh Beal has been a longstanding member of NUCA that has contributed many educational resources to NUCA about construction law.
Scott Souter, Brown & Brown
Scott Souter is a Sales Executive with Brown and Brown Insurance. He has been a longstanding NUCA member, first with NUCA of Southwest Washington before relocating to Seattle two years ago and becoming a member of the Washington Chapter.
Current NUCA Involvement:
Since Scott became a Washington Chapter member, he jumped straight into helping in any way he could. He has served as an active member on the Dozer Day Committee for the past two years and has been a regular volunteer on the NUCA Programs and Events Committee. He spends a lot of time interfacing with members on behalf of the chapter.
Casey Ziemer, HD Fowler
Casey Ziemer is currently at HD Fowler and has been there for over 13 years.
Current NUCA Involvement:
Casey does not currently serve on any committees or leadership positions but is interested meeting new contractors and other NUCA members.
