Dozer Day Committee

Dozer Day is our signature event of the year! Dozer Day is like going to a fair only our rides are real heavy construction equipment. Kids hop in the operator’s seat and actually operate dozers, excavators and other heavy equipment with a professional operator at their side. Not only is it a dream-come-true for kids (and fun for the whole family), the event also benefits many children’s charities. Our Dozer Day committee works year-round to put on this event that sees 10,000 children and adults over two days.

Auction Committee
Committee Chair: Tim Pullar
Each year, NUCA of Washington hosts an Annual Auction Gala Event to raise essential funds for our legislative and educational programs. The Auction Committee works hard at choosing the venue, obtaining donations, inviting guests and organizing the details of this grand event. Proceeds from the auction help support our legislative program which works hard at preserving a healthy and fair working environment for the civil construction industry.

Golf Committee
Committee Chair: Fawn Wilson, NUCA of Washington
Every summer, NUCA of Washington hosts a “Last Ditch Open” Golf Tournament at a premiere golf course. The purpose of the golf tournament is to raise funds for our scholarship program which awards deserving students their hard work and commitment to the civil construction industry. The golf committee works at soliciting sponsorships, encouraging participation, and finalizing all the details of the golf tournament.
